How do I change my in-game Battle Islands name?

On mobile and PC, at the top-left of the screen is your experience bar, and below that your player name, or a number-generated name.

Clicking on this name will bring up a menu that will allow you to edit it. At the end of the starter Tutorial, you will have the opportunity to change the number-generated name to something more unique to show off your inner commander!
