I am getting a Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime error trying to launch ABZU. What can I do?

If you are experiencing this problem in Windows, first and foremost, please ensure that all required and recommended updates are installed from Windows Update.

Next, please be sure that all of your drivers are up to date, including those for your video, audio, BIOS, and other components in your PC.

If you are still getting the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Runtime error, uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (both the x86 and x64 versions) from your system, and then download and install the latest ones from Microsoft here:

Another solution to try if the above does not work:

The download link can be found under "Method 2: Microsoft Download Center". Download and install the package that pertains to your version of Windows.  This has helped address this specific problem for other players.

Additional suggestion for Mac users:

If you are on a MacBook Pro, your AMD drivers for Bootcamp may be outdated.  Please visit the following link to download and install the latest drivers for your system:
