I'm having problems running ABZU on my PC. What can I do?

First and foremost, please be sure that your PC meets all of the minimum requirements.  If they don't, the game may exhibit serious performance problems, compatibility issues, and in other cases, will not launch at all.  Display hardware such as integrated Intel HD Graphics chips are not supported, and you may run into an immediate crash at the game's main menu.

Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for ABZU:

OS: Windows 7, 64-bit

Processor: 3.0GHz CPU Dual Core

Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: Geforce GTX 750 / Radeon R7 260X

DirectX: Version 11

Storage: 6 GB available space

Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card

Recommended:

OS: Windows 7, 64-bit

Processor: 2.4GHz CPU Quad Core

Memory: 8 GB RAM

Graphics: Geforce GTX 780 / Radeon R9 290X

DirectX: Version 11

Storage: 6 GB available space

Sound Card: DirectX compatible sound card

We always suggest that you keep your video drivers up to date.  However, problems can occur if you simply overwrite your old driver files with the new ones.  While this is convenient, we recommend doing a clean driver install.  Some driver packages allow you to select a clean install as an option.

Finally, always ensure that other hardware components on your PC are updated, particularly your motherboard BIOS, audio drivers, other peripherals, and all required and recommended Windows Updates.
