Are save games compatible with Payday 2: Crimewave Edition on PS4?

PAYDAY 2: The Big Score retail edition is now available is Europe on PlayStation 4 and on Xbox One and will be available in United Stated October 11th. The retail edition includes the same content as the digital version so it's all console content released for PAYDAY 2 up to end of December 2015.

**PlayStation 4 save file compatibility issue on PAYDAY 2: The Big Score disc retail edition**

There is an issue with old PAYDAY 2: Crimewave save files not being compatible with PAYDAY 2: The Big Score **retail edition** on PlayStation 4. We're currently working on fixing this together with Sony. This is only an issue on PlayStation 4 retail edition so this issue does not occur on The Big Score digital content. If you already own Crimewave and want the new content, your best option is still to buy individual DLCs or upgrade Crimewave to The Big Score digitally for a cheaper price than buying Crimewave + The Big Score on a disc. So if you're already an owner of PAYDAY 2: Crimewave edition and you buy PAYDAY 2: The Big Score retail edition your save file won't transfer over to the new retail version. The save file will not get deleted however, so as soon as this is fixed the save file will work as intended. The reason why this is happening is because The Big Score retail version has another content ID and is treated as a new game. We understand the frustration for existing Crimewave users who want to buy the new full retail disc edition that includes Crimewave + The Big Score and we're working on fixing this as soon as possible.

All the content released on the retail version is available on the digital store too however, so you can still buy individual DLCs or just upgrade your Crimewave edition to The Big Score edition and it will work as intended.

We're working on a fix for this as well as a patch with other fixes that has to be released separately on the retail version because of the different content ID as mentioned above. We'll keep you updated.
