UI, Controls & Localization
- Driver Registration Menu: Updated the privacy/registration flow; the menu now requests a player's "Year of Birth" instead of their exact age.
- H-Shifter Input Toggle: Added a new input binding action allowing players to disable the H-shifter on the fly, forcing the car into sequential shifting mode.
- Menu & Customization Clean-up:* Reorganized the Customization Menu categories to significantly reduce UI clutter on vehicles with large numbers of custom parts.
- Fixed a bug in the parts list where the material edit box would become hidden due to improper list resizing.
- Selecting a mechanical variant will now correctly display its corresponding car specification sheet.
- UI Fixes: * Setting a custom numberplate value to
0now accurately displays0in the UI instead of defaulting to1.- Fixed a bug where the view settings for driver/steering wheel visibility and "dash in HUD" would not save or display properly.
- Localization: Updated text and formatting across all supported languages for improved consistency.
General & Multiplayer (MP)
- Replay System: Improved replay interpolation to eliminate stuttering on movable track objects.
- Pause Logic: Fixed an issue where delta time logic did not update properly while the game was paused.
- Session Management: Fixed an issue where attempting to quit a session while a vehicle was actively loading caused a hard crash.
- Multiplayer Filtering: Fixed the Multiplayer tuning filters to ensure that performance data dumps correctly include the "mechanical variant" and Performance Index (PI).
- MP Restart Command: Executing a session restart command in a Multiplayer match will now fully repair all player cars instantly.
- Collision Events: Fixed an issue where the vehicle system failed to register hit/collision events in Multiplayer sessions and replay files.
Stability & Crash Fixes
- Fixed a crash that occurred when attempting to restart a racing session while driving the Lamborghini Huracan ST Evo2.
- Implemented a preventative stability fix for an issue involving Thrustmaster steering wheel code.
Graphics & Visuals
- Texture Quality Options: Added a new Texture Quality setting in the video options menu to allow players to better manage GPU bandwidth and prevent VRAM pool drops.
- Lighting & Shadows:* Improved cloud shadow matching and transition logic. The sun now dims correctly behind cloud cover, and shadow-line artifacts across tracks have been eliminated.
- Fixed a graphical "glowing" defect on metallic blurred rims when viewed in shaded areas.
- Adjusted indirect specular contributions to remove the unrealistic "glow" effect when cars move from sunlight into shadows or drive in overcast conditions.
- Atmospheric & Fog Improvements: Resolved a dark halo artifact caused by negative Mie scattering on cloudy tracks. Fixed reflection capture accuracy on car bodies by matching cubemap/mirror fog formulation to the main volumetric fog.
- Animations: Setup-bound car animations have been smoothed out to remove visual "stepping" or hitching.
⚠️ Known Issues ⚠️
- Particle System VFX Clipping (Crucial Support Info): * Issue:Players may notice smoke, dirt, spray, and impact effects passing directly through the chassis of their vehicles.
- Status: This is a known limitation of the new particle system framework introduced in Update 0.7. It has been designated for a potential fix in Update 0.8.
- Workaround: If a player reports severe visual issues or performance degradation from the new particles, advise them to go to Video Settings and disable Extended Effects. This will successfully revert the game to the older, optimized simple particle effects.
