How do I make backups of my characters and worlds?

iOS

Open up the Files app on your device.
Go to your device storage, this will be either On My iPad or On My iPhone.
Open up the Terraria folder.
You should see a number of files, but two folders in particular; Players and Worlds.
Within each of these folders are the files for your Players and Worlds.

Note, if you have renamed any of these since they were first created, they will have their original names.

To back these up, simply copy them across to a safe location.

Android

Open up any File Manager app on your device.
Go to your device storage.
Depending on the version of Terraria you own, navigate to the following folder:

Terraria (Full Version) - Android > Data > com.and.games505.TerrariaPaid
Terraria (Trial Version) - Android > Data > com.and.games505.Terraria

You should see a number of files, but two folders in particular; Players and Worlds.
Within each of these folders are the files for your Players and Worlds.

Note, if you have renamed any of these since they were first created, they will have their original names.

To back these up, simply copy them across to a safe location.

Amazon

There is currently no way to back up your data in the Amazon version of Terraria.
