If they don't, the game may exhibit serious performance problems, compatibility issues, and in other cases, will not launch at all. We always suggest that you keep your video drivers up to date. However, problems can occur if you simply overwrite your old driver files with the new ones. While this is convenient, we recommend doing a clean driver install. Some driver packages allow you to select a clean install as an option.
