Up to 4 friends can play together cooperatively online. The game also supports split-screen multiplayer (max number of players still TBD). We’re trying to make the multiplayer experience as seamless and convenient as possible. Everyone’s character is stored on their own machine, but the world will stay with the host. Because anyone can terraform a world they’ve joined, we require you to play with friends rather than strangers.
